Like photography, cycling can easily become an obsession for those who begin to embrace it. If you’ve experienced this, I’m sure you can relate.
As someone who has always been passionate about sports, I’ve always needed an outlet that gives me a sense of freedom and independence - something I can only fully experience through movement. For me, there’s no greater feeling than hopping on a bike and riding freely. This sense of joy has only deepened since I invested in a "proper" gravel bike.
However, I’d argue that the greatest joy of cycling comes when you’re able to share a great ride with a good friend. There's something special about chatting intermittently between the heavy ascents and the fast, relaxed descents... And of course, why not bring along your most compact camera to capture a shot or two between conversations, if the opportunity arises?
In this one, I’m riding alongside my great cycling buddy, Adriano.
